Wat u do on Holidays?

As a christian what do u do on holidays like Christmas and New years Day? Do you go to church or just blow it off as another day

I try to work the day into my daily prayer time, like talking to God about the past year and asking what He wanted me to learn from some of its specific events.

I get lonely, so I will telephone a friend or family member and wish them a Happy Whateverdayitis.

I still have my Christmas lights outside the front door so I turned them on to celebrate New Year's, even though everyone else on my street has taken down their lights already.

I will often take down a picture for the season and put up a different one for the new season, and many of them are religious.

And I usually go to Church, but often the night before.

To me, these are days when the stores are mostly closed and the buses run on a reduced schedule. I stay home and answer questions like this one.
