haha u sound like my best friends ex. he plays guitar/bass in his church band thing. i dont think its for youthgroup... just a ton of talented churchgoers. anyways..., make sure you sing from your stomoache, and feel it in your lungs. Not from your throat. and (yeah it sounds lame) try singing along to some of the old like boy bands (backstreet boys) cuz u can find a pitch in one of the voices that works best for you. My voice teacher had me do that with like britney speares, and jessica simpson, and it worked.

Hi. I'm 14 and i have a musical talent at singing, and I'm trained 2 sing by an opera singer.i am christian 2. ask other people if your singing is bad, because your dad might not knows what he is talking about. that's what i did and that's one of the reasons i got here 2day.try these tips:
1) try not 2 use your nose while practicing(hold your nose to see if vibrations come out and if they do, try not to let them.
2)say galagalagala raely fast, then, sing it.
3)read "Vocal Wisdom"
4)i cannot help u with pitch 'cause i was born with perfect pitch.
I hope this helps u.

It will never matter how bad you sing or what anyone says because it is all beautiful to God. Pray and ask God to lead you in which direction you should go. Maybe he will help you with your singing or maybe you could be being led to find someone else to be a part of your group. God will make everything work out just lift it up to him. Look to God he will always provide the answers that you need.
God bless you and happy new year.

Been there done that try the key of G at your age your voice is changing...also try a new style called "soft" where you sing softly and save your voice for the hard to hit notes. Also look for songs that best suite you and your band...sometimes you might have to give up a solo for the group after all it is called
"Worship" right?

More practice at singing and listening to yourself sing will help you to get better. You might try singing along with the radio and listening to yourself to try to carefully match what you hear. Also, you can hire a teacher who can help you learn how to sing better. I hope you enjoy singing! It's really fun!
