Clinique "Its all about lips," us this for a week or so and the difference is amazing, on a day to day basis use the lip sun protection squeezy gloss type stuff from Clinique that I can't remember the name of. I would avoid Vaseline as that will in the long run only give you drier lips.

#1 STAY WELL HYDRATED, DRINK WATER BUT NOT TOO MUCH, 6-8 GLASSES OF PLAIN WATER IS ENOUGH.
#2 USE LIP BALMS SUCH AS CHAPSTICK, CARMEX OR VASELINE.

Drink lots of water as it helps keep your skin and lips more moist. Make sure that you breathe through your nose and not your mouth. And find a good lip balm that isn't alcohol based. I use Neutrogena products as recommended by my dentist.

I was watching the Tyra Banks Show and she was talking beauty tips she said for dry lips you rub vasiline on your lips and you get a toothbrush with warm water and brush your lips than wipe the vaseline off yor lip with a face towel that technique removes dead skin off your lips which makes you lips real smooth try it I did it made my lips so smooth do this twice a week

Burt's Bees makes great lip balm/chapstick. You can get it slightly medicated too so it helps keep lips moisturized and heals any cracks. And smells minty! Once you get used to having braces, your lips will get better.

I have braces and the same problem, I keep chapstick handy, and every night before bed I gently brush my lips with a toothbrush (NOT the same one I use for my teeth) and vaseline. Apply carmex or an ultra effective chapstick before bed and every morning, as well as touch ups during the day
