Although im so happy 2007 has come to an end as it has been the worst year of my life, im also lonely especially tonight! Im a single mum and my kids r to young to stay up til midnight, so i have no one to celebrate with. Is any one else lonely?

Horribly Lonely, and that is in a crowd.
2007 has been the longest, most painful, miserable year of my life....and I am usually the happy pollyanna in any group!
I am claiming 2008 as my own.
I am going to take ownership of my own happiness and health in the new year.
I will not spend one more moment boo~hooing. I will not spend one more year saying "this is the year I lose that 15 lbs." And I will not the let the trash that tried to bring me down this year occupy one more moment of my life.
Somewhere between 11- midnight I will be burning a calendar of 2007...and I will be walking into the countdown with some sense of the self I was a year ago...and some confidance and the knowledge that I am capable of love and deserving of being loved.
AND
It sounds like a yahoo group needs to be created for all the answerers on here that aren't going out or going to be with someone tonight!

I will be out drinking with friends but I will feel lonely because I've had no sucess finding a girl for myself.

Yes, I am lonely also this New Year's Eve. Not because I will be alone but there are alot of friends of mine I have not seen in years and right now, I am just wondering where they are and how they are doing and just wish I could see them ALL tonight just to remember all the years we have know each other and to bring in another YEAR ALL TOGETHER!!!
