Conflict of Interest here, notify the courts of such orif you have to appear, let the Judge know you dont want to testify due to such. This should be just be beween the two of them as it is their child and let the Judge decide but based from experience, nothing will change as its not a health hazard to your granddaughter and thats the only way the Judge would modify it

You cannot avoid a court order or you could go to jail for contempt. This is your grand child and you have your opinion regardless who is insults, etc.

You are there in the best interests of the little girl so they want you to tell the truth, including the good and bad issues for both sides.

Go and just be honest. The court is the person making the final decision, not you. Oh, and make sure you ask for grandparent right of visits.

Didn't read all of this, as it was a little confusing. It really doesn't matter what your reasons are, if you are subpoenaed and refuse to testify it is contempt of court, with fines and possible jail time. The only way to refuse is if testimony would be used to incriminate you for some illegal act. .
If someone just asks you to testify as a character witness, you don't have to give them a reason not too.
