Hi, I have two weiner puppies that are less than 3 months old, and i need a good shampoo for fleas and sensitive skin for them. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I am a Dacshund breeder. For dogs with sensitive skin I alwasy use regular Dawn dish soap. You do not have to leave it on them like regular Flea shampoo. Avoid their eyes. Hope this helps.

Trust me when I say you don't need a shampoo to deal with these fleas - noone 'needs' a flea shampoo, even for adult animals, they're fairly useless

Get a proper flea treatment from a vets - Frontline, Advantage, Revolution or Advocate. These can all be used from 8 weeks of age. Don't bother with any store bought flea products because stores aren't licensed to sell the stuff that actually works.

These are both great products! Hope this helps!

But the one for fleas and ticks might have poison in it, so I would use Advantage instead of shampoo. Advantage got rid of the fleas on my pup in 15 minutes!

check with your vet since flea shampoos have some poison in them you want to make sure it wont kill or make the pups sick...
