You say she is your sister-in-law's daughter. Your sister in law is either your spouse's sister, or your brother's wife.

If she is your spouse's sister, and you spouse is your son's father, then yes, it is incest. But if your husband is not your son's father, it is not incest.

If this is your brother's wife, and if your brother is the father, then it is incest. But if your brother is not the father, it is not incest.

There has to be a blood relationship at least as close as 1st cousins for it to be considered incest.

In my husband's family there are 3 first cousin marriages. It is not incestuous and is legal in the UK but you don't say which Country you are in.
The only problem there has been from my point of view, is that I am the family historian/genealogist and it is incredibly difficult drawing up a Family Tree, because people appear twice on their own tree!
No babies born with two heads!

Well if she is also your brothers child then am afraid yes its incest!! If not your brothers child she is not blood related so I dont see the wrong in it if dont it seems abit wired don't worry too much about it!!!

In about half of US states first cousins cannot marry...in all other states and most countries in the world, any cousins can marry.

It's not incest, although some people do find it unappealing.
