Ok well firstly i was wondering about different churches like the church of england, baptist, catholic, protestant

do all these believe in the same thing? Why arn't they united if so?

Do jewish and christian both believe in jesus in the same way and I basically don't understand that

Also why do different religions hate each other when a religion itself is supposed to be about 'being a good person' etc etc.

Just a bit confused on the whole front tbh

The different Christian denominations have a long history but they generally started do to minor differences in belief, but that they considered as very important. Today, it is vary likely to find a mixture of these different beliefs in each church. Over all they basically share the same fundamental believes.

Jews do not believe that the messiah has come and that Jesus did not fulfill the messianic prophecies. So no, they do not believe the same things.

Believers tend to think that others with different beliefs are not "true" believers and therefore are living in deseption.

I became a pagan through fact the church enable me down while i mandatory them the main. i replaced into christian, then agnostic, then wiccan. As for the top of the international, christians have been asserting the top of the international has been upon us for some years now. interior the bible it states that the final 7 years the antichrist would be in capacity and that all of us of god's little ones will already be ruptured for the time of those seven years, in case you starve and flow homeless and don't settle for help from the facet of evil, you will flow to heaven after the 7 years, if not you flow to hell. that is a tale, there isn't any evidence that this tale is not greater genuine than the Norse Heathen's end of the international tale. The bible is a e book, and how genuine you're making that is as much as you. What i might do is study and learn. discover out approximately all different pagan traditions. featuring something from greek/roman thoughts to community american ideals. If paganism does not look top on your coronary heart, learn different religions such through fact the jewish and christians religions. there are a number of paths to the same trip spot, and you are able to return and forth the direction which you're feeling is good.

well simple. people are stupid we all are, honestly everything must be perfect and the answers to our lives must be answered. how were we made?how old is the earth? what is good and what is bad? ect. we dont like the idea of not knowing so we make up things to fit exaclty into what we think life should be and another religion even slightly different would throw our ideas in the trash so we say they are wrong.

christianity originates from jewish. jews are very similar but they do not believe our savior (jesus) has come yet.

sounds like ur about to be a religion called agnostic. best luck.

You are right to be asking questions about Religion which is arguably the biggest question of all. Please ignore any evangelising both by believers and non-believers but whilst considering your options I would ask that you consider the non-religious option - Humanism. Wherever your journey leads I wish you peace.

1) They all believe in fundamentally the same thing-in God and Christ and so on-but they differ in other practices and beliefs, such whether the Eucharist actually the Body of Christ or just representative of that, divorce, and the practice of Confession/Reconciliation.
2) Since they don't agree on these details and others, they are not the same religion.
3)Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Jew believe that Jesus is, at best, a prophet.
4) That last part really is confusing. There is no excuse for it.

Woah....that is a lot of ground to cover. You should probably go to a library and read some text on world religions. Or go to Wikopedia and get an idea there.

Your first question.... They are all Christian religions C.O.E. Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, Lutheran, and many others.
They are not united due to the interpretations of the Bible. Becuse the Bible is written in such a manner that it can be interpretted many different ways. All to often readers project their disposition into the readings and tend to use what is most fitting to their needs and beliefs. So even though the Christian religions all believe Jesus as the Son of God, they have different interpretations of the teachings of him and his band of prophets, and apostles.

Jews believe that Jesus was real, and a prophet, but not the Son of God.

Not all religions hate each other.....do they? Mostly religious wars tend to be involving land and the cultural differences are in play as means of describing these territorial plays of power.

ill try to answer as simply as possible.

All denominations of christianity believe in the main important things. That Jesus was Christ, Savior and that he died on the cross to save or sins. The only difference between them is the right way to worship him. I personally believe that their is no right or wrong way. Considering one of the main phrases in the bible is "for whomever believes in him shall not perish but live forever.."

Its not the religion in the man that causes hatred, but intolerance. Religion is a thing from God, Intolerance is a thing of man. Get the difference? example Bin Ladin calls for the extermination of Christians. This has nothing to do with the things taught in the Koran. Or anything that Muhammad has said to do.. This is one mans own thoughts and own intolerance that has led him down this road.

Jews believe that Christ existed but that he was not the messiah. Christians believe he was the Messiah.

There is one thing that unifies Christianity and that's who Jesus is. The rest is just doctrinal interpretation.

People worship according to who they are in a basic agreement with. Man has to have freedom to understand and follow God in his own understanding.

Being good is required by God, but it's not the way to God. Jesus is the only way to God.

This answer could be pages and pages long because your questions are deep. My answer is basic within the space provided.

The Jews do not accept Jesus as messiah. Some do but they are called messianic Jews who do have similar beliefs to Christians. And accept Jesus as their lord and Saviour. Which is what the unifying point is.

Johns Gospel is a good book in the Bible to read for clarification of what Christianity is about. And you are just as able to interpret it as anyone else if you ask our Heavenly father illuminate it for you when seeking the truth. Just ask him to give you a revelation of truth in the knowledge of him.

First, religion itself isn't just about being a "good person". It's about rules, and those rules set the type of religion. Second, the Jewish don't believe that Jesus, the Christ, is the Messiah. Christians do. With regards to your first question, it's not always about believing in the same thing, to my first response, it's also about believing in the same set of laws. Different religions "hate" each other because they don't agree with the other's beliefs. In my "religion" we embrace other religions (to an extent anyway). We have Christian Reformed, Baptist, Methodist, etc. in our community working with us. My "religion" would be full gospel. We are about following the word and having a relationship with god. Basically we take what's in the Bible (KJV), and try to live by those rules. We don't manipulate the laws of God. We embrace the ones set forth by Him in His word.

as usual, religion causes people to argue and fight

so the church of Ang Land (england) broke off from Roman controlled Vatican

The German "M. Luther" decided to challenge the authority of the church and started the idea of protestantism

protestants continued this division into their own interpretation and understanding once the bible became standardized
edited and printed for the masses

now any uneducated person can claim to be a saint or prophet

44,500 variants of christianity to date, and rising
