why doesn't he make an effort to ask so he can pronounce it to know it?

Probably because they think the girl they are talking to already knows her name. I don't know. I don't usually use a guy's name when I'm talking to him. The only exception is if I'm in a group setting and I'm saying something to one specific person. I'll say their name then so they know I'm addressing them specifically.

its the same for girls and guys they assume your an item and don't need to be addressed separately

I never use girls names when I'm talking to them. Not even when I've known them for years...Usually I'll use a whistle or a snap to get their attention.

It's a power play...If I have a name and they don't I win.

they dont know ho wto pronounce it or they are cheating on them with alot of other girls and they cant keep their names in track
