the war is not over. and for the soldiers posting how pissed off that they are still over in Iraq--then you shouldn't have joined the military!!!

If it's over, then why the H^!! am I stuck here in IRAQ!?!
Ask my wife and children if it's over, and yeah, come on over and let me know how you feel about the number of dead!!!!!
Then let me know your thoughts about those "low numbers"
Oh yeah, you forgot all the numbers, what about the wounded, what about the broken lives, the men and women who'll never walk again, hear again, need skin grafts...............................

Wow, Erudite. Back stirring up more cr@p again, eh? Why did you go off your meds this time?

When will you get it through your thick skull that the "war" was over several years ago, and now we're trying to win the peace?

Out of the 1.8 million people in the US Armed Forces we loose approximately 2.5 of them a day due to car accidents. These numbers represent troops back home, where they are "safe."

This number doubles over the weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Thats 25 a week, or 100 a month, or 1200 a year approximately.

So if the point of all your rhetoric is to save the lives of US troops then why arent you running around with picket signs and attempting to ban them from driving a car back home?

From a statistical standpoint they are safer in Iraq, people lie, numbers dont.

Only 21 dead soldiers!

THAT'S GREAT!!!!!

I mean, unless you were one of them, of course.

Let's hope we continue to meet our Death Goals for 2008!

We only lost 900 in 2007, so let's shoot for 810 in 2008, and 775 in 2009, and 700 in 2010.

Shoot, at this rate we'll get away a bit cheaper than Vietnam, but with the SAME GREAT RESULTS!

Keep up the good work, President Bush!
