Yeah it probably is possible. Oatmeal is high in fiber, which is good for your digestive system. It also keeps you full, so it will take you awhile to get hungry again. You can put cinnamon in it, and raisins, or walnuts even.

Just eating oatmeal (just adding it to your diet) won't create some magic chemical event that makes you lose weight. The key to losing weight is to reduce food intake to a safe level (meaning cut out empty calories, not nutritious foods, as you still need to get your daily requirements for health) and then increase your metabolism to burn more calories than you are taking in with food. You can boost your metabolism by aerobic activity, and by building/toning muscle. Oatmeal is a good part of any meal plan either to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight, for all the reasons others have posted here already.

yes I lost weight and eat it every morning. It will keep your bowels regular too.
Buy a big box from Smart and Final Grocery and it costs less than the regular store. About .89lb. for Quaker Oats.
Get the precooked 1 minute kind.
No recipe, just add water and cook in the micro for 1min then stir and cook for another 1min watch it doesn't boil over
enjoy!!

Just oatmeal, a few raisins. (adding some ground flaxseed might be a good addition,) and add some oat bran. Makes it a pretty good food (stays with you as they say)

Well outmeal is high and fiber and good for cholesterol. I'm sure you've heard it before. Excercise would be rather helpful too and watching what you eat for the whole day. Good luck!! PS. Get quaker oats and make it like they say. Remeber the lowfat milk!!!

Eating fewer calories is the key to losing weight. Oatmeal has only 150 calories per serving and is high in fiber so it's more filling than cold cereals which helps you to eat less.
There's no special recipe. Just follow the cooking instructions on the container. Oh yeah, it lowers cholesterol too. That's another good feature of oatmeal.
