Venues - places where ceremony and reception. If either needs tables, chairs, chair coverings, possible tent, look now and book it to save $$$. Gifts for your attendants especially if you want to special order or make the gifts.
Invitations, save the date cards, decision for favors. What about hair stylists - you might want to start experimenting with your hair to give you ample time to decide, long, short, updo, color, highlights, makeovers. Check out gyms to work out and tone up. Lodging needs for out of town guests. You might want to contact several areas and ask to book a block of room for 1-2 days. Window shop at your local department or speciality stores to start your bridal registeries. Transportation to and from airports, etc. for out of town guests. Rehersal dinner or morning after breakfast for party and out of towners. Research ideas for vows and music for special events - first dance, last dance, dance with Dad or other, possible videotographer. Wardrobe for showers, dinners, bachelorette night, rehersal dinner. Plan on possible transportation issues for older relatives or neighbors you want to attend. Perhaps you can designate certain people to car pool to make it easier for those special people to come to the wedding and reception. Take advantage of the time you have and the sales that occur before your wedding. The time will go sooooooo fast. Make up guest list, get ideas for seating arrangements. Yeah you got a couple of things to think about. Go bridalonlinel.com, get a checklist of what to do now and before the wedding and make yourself a time line to stick to. Works wonderful what planning a big event.

Good luck, hope I did not stress you out, but it is usually the little things people forget. I would not waste a minute. So many other things you don't expect will pop up like the number of showers, parties, socials etc., you don't have control of the dates etc.

My wedding is in June as well. I have the DJ, reception hall, photographer, minister, church, decorations, videographer all booked. I am looking over my guest list now and will be ready to print invitations in March. The next big step is ordering my dress and the bridesmaid dresses (I have them picked out, I just need to order them) and book hair appointments and flowers. I will watch your questions for new tips. It's a learning experience for the both of us. I find using the internet for different "count downs" very helpful.

Start thinking about all of the little stuff- invitations, place cards, favors, hair and makeup trials.

Go to www.theknot.com- their checklists helped keep me sane!
