Tocino is NOT bacon. Tocino is only the white fatty part.

In Spanish normally we say "beicon" like in English, but the true Spanish word is "panceta".

The definition is " Hoja de tocino entreverada con magro":
fat , mingled with meat.

But as I said "beicon" is far more common.
