you came across Yahoo Answers by accident or was you meant to find it, for reasons that may be clear to you or not.

lol elric told me about it barb , me kirst and him used to hang around the bb message boards during bb7 . . he kept disappearing and i'd say where you been ,he told me about it and so i joined up ,so glad i did thanx elric

Well Sparkles, I needed to know how to get the double sided sticky tape of the kids window, it'd been there for a year!!!! LOL, but you know what Sparks I wouldn't know what to do without YA now!

I did a google search barb coz I had got some Lily Pollen on our brand new leather cream suite and wanted to get it off before Hubby came home from work as I knew I would be in deep deep trouble. I ended up here, asked my question and before I knew it had a few answers and managed to get the pollen stain out.
Next day I got a little curious and decided to come back and suss the place out properly and am I glad I did. I've 'met' so many nice friendly people on here (and you know who you all are) and it's become part of my life now.

I did a Google Search for something and this is where it directed me.
I used to look at news/media for a while but there was such a hate campaign against the Mc Canns, I gave up there and , because of my age , took a look at 'Senior Citizens' but that was too bitchy so I came on here and apart from , perhaps 'Travel' and Bouncybelle's 'Polls' -this is where I stay

I came across it because Yahoo started to add it on to the bottom of my groups,Barb.
I joined and then ignored it until a particular problem came up to which I simply wanted a *reasoned* and informative answer from as wide a range of people as possible (parents and those "in the know" scientifically speaking too) so I asked the question (which was just about whether teflon-coated clothing *might* be harmful to children).I was shocked at the responses - not the genuine answers but the way that *some* people seemed to twist it into it being an attack on my DIL when it was just a question about teflon!
Anyhow since then I have taken the rough with the smooth and am glad that I found the RTV section even though I hardly watch it as that is much more friendly and relaxing!
Y!A answers for me should be for serious questions like I asked originally (and I *was* (still am) concerned) but it should be relaxing and for a laugh too.
Anyhow I am not going away because even though a new attempt has been made to start a campaign against me recently it has failed and I shall continue to use Y!A in the way *I* feel that it is useful to *me* and try to be helpful to others too.
The rest I shall ignore which others should do too!

I went to look at my stars and clicked answers by mistake joined up and thought why not but so glad i pressed button by mistake made some truly wonderful friends on here and also improved my knoweldge and brain power I now know what a troll is lol

I stumbled on it by 'accident' B but I don't believe anything is done by accident - always for a reason. We may touch upon each other's lives for a short time but it is always for a purpose, to fulfil some need in us at that moment in time. Others are there for the long haul. Whatever the reason I am so glad I found Yahoo Answers that day! x
