Study with girls!

Remember that girls come and go (or boys, for the female readers), but that if you screw-up your school years, you screw-up your life!

When it's study time, study. If you're on a "Study Date" do it where the parents in residence can "watch" you without any more effort of walking into the kitchen/dining room/etc. Only date one girl (or boy) at a time, and don't date during the school week. If you have a massive exam or what-not coming up, study/work during the morning and afternoon on Saturday, and all-day Sunday. Leave the evening Saturday to de-stress and enjoy!

Oh...if after your date, you figure that the likelihood of you dating again is about the proverbial snowball's chance... Be polite, and DON'T leave him/her hanging with the impression that it was the best thing ever...and never say "I'll call," if you have no intention of ever doing so. It's called simplifying your life. You already have enough to stress about - people you don't want an active social life with shouldn't be one of them!

Choose your priorities and don't let anything get in the way. I remember years ago walking home with Bill Mazeroski, a wonderful, talented man from my hometown. He went on to play baseball, and helped win one of the World Series. He had to make a choice, his girlfriend,or his sports. We talked about it, and he chose the sports. It was a wise choice, as noted above. He then met a beautiful girl (the daughter of his manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates ball team) and they had a wonderful family. He then had it all.
If you don't study, your future career plans could be in jeopardy, and who wants a loser? Girls are a dime a dozen at your age, so have fun, have many friendships, but when it is time to study, do that. If any girl complains, she doesn't have your future in mind, only her instant gratifications.
Keep the hormones in balance by exercising, not playing around. Eventually, you will be the winner in all of this, and girls wont' be an issue. You will have the greatest of careers, the best of women, and whatever else you work hard for.

Good luck.

Make it a rule to only date on Friday and Saturday nights. Don't even meet them for a soda after school. Turn off your telephone and computer. Let your parents know you are NOT taking any calls.

The rest of your life depends on your grades. Believe me when I say that without a working background when you first start out looking for a job, employers WILL check on your school grades and activities in order to make sure you will be a good employee.

High school dating is only for a little while, but most of your years on this earth will be working for a living.

Just know your priorities. Is it studies or girls? If you can handle both then that's cool. But if one gets in your way, then you have to have your priority.

What kind of grammar is that? Study comes first and girls comes later, because they're always there.
