From what I understand (correct me if I'm wrong) the Illuminati is an international organization, secretly in control of the world, not just the US. If that's true, then they don't use religion world-wide. All the other developed countries, even those with 'official' state religions, have no trouble keeping religion and politics separate.

It's only in the US, the country that was actually founded on the principle of the separation of church and state, where politicians all claim to be God's choice for president, and where you have to pretend to believe a very narrow stripe of Christianity to even run for president.

In years past I think it was easy to suspect that some secret, hidden organization was running the world. Today, though, it's not so secret! They've come out from hiding. They are so powerful they don't need to hide! The bankers, the oil corporations, the globalists like NAFTA and GATT an G7. We know who they are, we know their agenda, there's no need to speculate about the Illuminati or the Bilderburgers or the CFR anymore. 8^<

Just like everyone else.

They're the most dangerous power in the US. Actually, that's Microsoft.

There are a lot of organizations using religion to further their agenda, however;
2Ti 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

A number of denominations are controlled by Illuminati or their associates, particularly those of the Calvinist traditions. The Calvinists in southern France had a lot of connection with Adam Weishaupt, the founder of the Illuminati.

They scare the be-jezzus out of me, all powerful, in my opinion

It's not a conspiracy nor gone as some quoted. I have seen pictures of the buildings in the US, very much alive.
