My ex-boyfriend contacted me for Christmas even though we agreed to no contact. He was the one who left me. I replied to him and then he told me he is going away with his friends for New Year. I got upset as I really don't need to know he is having fun on his own. We got into emotional discussion over texts and now his mobile has been switched off since yesterday. It's very unusual. I am so hurt. I sent him a text but it's still pending. Why has he done that?

Why do you let him?
He's playing emotional head games with you.
Don't answer his calls / text AND don't call / text him. Unless you like him playing head games with you.
A clean breakup is less hurtful...

He is just checking to see if you are still hurting, I think this guy is on an ego trip. He obiously wants to make sure your not over him or you wont forget him. Go out and have fun yourself, don't respond to his texts. Thats what I would do anyway.

umm i guess i know what you feel, but my friend you shouldnt answer him as you agreed to no contact. let him do whatever he wants and you dont pay attention, if you do so as you did you make your life harder ...

He contacted you because whatever happened you shared something once, he probably felt a little emotional over Christmas about what happened between the two of you and wanted to see if you were OK. He let you know that his life had moved on my telling you of his plans for New Year. Then he tried to support you as much as he felt he wanted to/was able to when you got over emotional with him. His not responding is a clear message of 'Woah! I only wanted to say 'hello''.
You made a mistake that a lot of girls make, you pour all your feelings onto one guy, it's too much for them but the more they back off the more you pour on them. You came over as clingy and emotional and needy and no-one wants a person like that in their life.
