I'm trying to cosplay as somebody that wears red hakama. I don't have a very extensive budget so can anyone tell me where I can get hakama or give me a SIMPLE pattern for making some hakama for UNDER $30?

I have very little sewing experience, I've never used a machine before. Also if anybody makes hakama, would you take a commission for red hakama?

It is much easier (and cheaper) to buy hakama, mainly due to the amount of fabric used and complexity of making them (7 pleats which need to be knife/box pleated etc.)

However, these sites should be helpful. Good luck!
