If they believed in Christ, then I believe they will go to Heaven. Believing in Christ means His blood washes away all your sins, past, present and future. No one is perfect until resurrected. We all sin and will do so until death. But, God sees Christ when He looks at the Christian at Judgment and doesn't see or hold the person's sin against him. That's what justification is all about. I know Catholics and some others believe they go to Hell but I don't-not if they believed in Christ. The ONLY sin that is unpardonable is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit-Matthew 12:31-32.

God is God of the living not of the dead.
aside from that, i get the sense that it is none of our business if God sends a person wherever he pleases...
it is based on our lack of faith, or our very own arrogance that we concern ourselves by those kind of questions where God promises to be a fair judge of things that be....
if God says he will judge them, will God be a fair judge?
for a believer, the answer is obvious.
if the answer is not obvious to you then the problem wont get resolved if you get an answer or not.
try to study and seek God first before you worry about those things.

It all depends whether the person accepted Christ as their savior.

I. Respect for Human Life
2264 Love toward oneself remains a fundamental principle of morality. Therefore it is legitimate to insist on respect for one's own right to life. Someone who defends his life is not guilty of murder even if he is forced to deal his aggressor a lethal blow:
Suicide
2280 Everyone is responsible for his life before God who has given it to him.
It is God who remains the sovereign Master of life.
We are obliged to accept life gratefully and preserve it for his honor and the salvation of our souls.
We are stewards, not owners, of the life God has entrusted to us.
It is not ours to dispose of.
2281 Suicide contradicts the natural inclination of the human being to preserve and perpetuate his life.
It is gravely contrary to the just love of self.
It likewise offends love of neighbor because it unjustly breaks the ties of solidarity with family, nation, and other human societies to which we continue to have obligations.
Suicide is contrary to love for the living God.
2282 If suicide is committed with the intention of setting an example, especially to the young, it also takes on the gravity of scandal.
Voluntary co-operation in suicide is contrary to the moral law.
Grave psychological disturbances, anguish, or grave fear of hardship, suffering, or torture can diminish the responsibility of the one committing suicide.
2283 We should not despair of the eternal salvation of persons who have taken their own lives. By ways known to him alone, God can provide the opportunity for salutary repentance. the Church prays for persons who have taken their own lives.
EDIT: I also want to add my own thoughts here, since I don't usually make it a habit to just cut/paste someone else's response. ;-)
I do think that whatever happens to a person to "cause them to commit suicide" has a lot to do with whether they enter Heaven or not. I do NOT think it's an automatic ticket to Hell. I DO think it's an automatic suspension to getting into Heaven.
Here's why. When our physical body dies, our soul and spirit continue on. Our mind, the part that makes us an individual, is made up of the soul. That would mean that whatever emotional torment you're feeling would be carried with you into death. Death does not end the problems that plagued you in life. You still have baggage that you have to work out to move closer to Heaven. That's what purgatory is for. To give you a chance to continue working towards Heaven.
Think of it this way. When someone commits suicide, they are likely in a state of depression and self-hate. When you hate yourself, you are not embracing God. That alone would keep you from Heaven.
I do think that someone who has a physical mental defect can not be blamed, and I would like to think that God would have mercy on that person.

Only God is the Judge. We know that mental illness is a mitigating factor in these cases. However, it is not impossible for a person to repent at the very last second of this act. In that case, they would probably end up in purgatory before going to heaven. We cannot be sure that even Judas may have repented at the very last second. God is the Judge.

Your consciousness is eternal. If they were very depressed when they died, they'll be the same right after. Add in the fact they will see/feel the grief of their loved ones and it's not the best of times for one that does that at all.
