The PS3 does not usually overheat the box 360 does. I have Been playing on it for many days and it does not over heat. If it is overheating it automatically shuts down. so you must have done something to it.

Yeah I know, Xbox 360 fanboys would really like to hear that a PS3 has finally overheated, but that's never going to happen as long as the PS3 has plenty of air flow.

That has never happened to me before on my PS3 or Xbox 360. I guess you just had it in a place where it couldn't cool down. That really sucks though...
