If we leave, Iraq, Iran will not move in to take it over...the Saudi's will never allow it.
There is zero reason to attack Iran..the NIE (National Intelligence Estimate) has stated that Iran has no wmd, so why attack?
Of course, the NIE has been wrong before, but the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) was correct about Iraq, and also supports the conclusion that Iran suspended it's nuclear weapons program in 2003.
Yet we have Bush lieing to the American people again..talking about the threat from Iran and scaring us with tales of WW III.
Bush said he didn't know about Iran's lack of WMD until a few weeks ago, but it's since been revealed, that this NIE report has been circulating for more than a year!
Cheney kept his foot on the neck of this NIE report because they wanted justification for escalating this war in the MIddle East to include Iran. It's all about profits, people...not wmd, not democracy, not freedom...it's all about money.
I'm frankly shocked that anyone believes a word that comes from this administration?!
How many times do you have to be lied to before you wake up?

Iran is no threat to the U.S. The U.S. is a threat to all energy producing nations. That is why North Korea does not concern itself with U.S. barking; because there is no bite.

And what attack would that be? The news media have completely missed that scandal.
Yes, a nuclear armed Iran, under the leadership of demogogues/fanatics/looneys like Ahmedinijahd would be an extremely dangerous entity. He has already sworn to slaughter every Jew in the world and erase Israel from the maps of the world, and the availability of nuclear weapons would give him the capability to start on that mission.

No.
Someone should take all Uncle Sam's toys away.
Sick of USA killing and bombing to make more money to fuel there fast food super obese society.
When will USA stop being greedy fat war mongers, bombing and killing who ever they want for decades and crying with seemingly genuine shock when targeted by every terrorist fruit loop walking the planet ?
Sad thing is so many sepos seem to have their heads so far up their own backsides to realise pretty much the whole god damn planet is sickened by US foreign policy.
Stop the hate, forget the greed, share the love.
If you really have to make bombs and guns, use them on each other, not other countries please.

Next step Iran. They are dangerous and we are the reason for it. Our mutual contempt started back in the early 1800's with a war to control resources that set up a dichotomy between the east and the west. The powers that be will be our demise(on all sides). There is no stopping the glacial tide of contempt they are bringing home. Don't forget who paid for the failed texas tea and who used to run the company that is reaping the taxpayer in a war we were lied to about.

Yes, they are actually a dangerous country. Their leader was on world wide television calling for a country to be wiped off the map....that sounds pretty dangerous to me. I dont care about your views on Israel, but no country deserves to live in fear like that. Iran is truly dangerous. Im not worried about N Korea...they can barely feed their people, Iran is the one.

I wish we would attack it.
Iran will move in take over Iraq if we leave. They'll seize all resources, and start sending that oil all to China and Russia. China will then have enough fuel to make a larger military than the US and Russia will give Iran NUKES.
As a soldier I don't want to go to Iraq anymore. Still, I have to because we can't let these terrible things happen.
I am Liberal, so don't start preaching to me. It's just that unlike others, I have Secret clearance and actually know what's going on, instead of the BS that the news is smearing all over.
Had we never attacked Iraq, none of this would happen. Too bad Bush is such a MASSIVE failure as a President.
=(
Someone below seems to think its based on whether Iran has WMD's and that the "saudi's" will protect Iraq.
You need to go there... I used to think like you, I was WRONG.

I don't agree with it. Not at all.
Oil is our main motivation for doing so. Terrorism? Yeah, right! Let's not kid ourselves. Oil is the real reason why we invaded Iraq, and look at how well that is working out for us!
Iran definitely has its share of problems, but there is nothing that could be gained by taking military action against them. It would just create more of a mess, and wreck more havoc in the international community.

Iran is a dangerous country because is is run by a nut.
However, America's government is suffering from a serious credibility problem because of our reckless foreign policy of the last 7 years so there is really no chance of us leading world opinion toward a peaceful solution.
Invasion would be a mistake. We are already in a 100 year war in Iraq.

We need a 3rd world war to finally rid ourselves of all the evil in this world. Eliminate 3/4 of the population - especially the troublemakers like the radical islamics and you'll see how sudenly everyone will chose to get along in the aftermath.
