We Hindus get cremated and not buried but that doesnt mean we all go to hell !!
you will go to heaven or hell is decided by the person you have been in your life..and even if you have been bad there is no such thing as eternal hell or damnation .After a little punishment in hell or human or animal life you get a new chance
I dont know what kind of God will be that can send his children to hell for eternity ...eternal damnation is a myth - a folly.. I wonder how some faiths say that they have faith in God and then they think that God is a cruel punisher!!

No, it doesn't mean that at all. The Vatican supports cremation and organ donation AS LONG AS you don't deny Christ before your death. The Catholic doctrine no longer claims that you can't be cremated.

TITLE III.

ECCLESIASTICAL FUNERALS (Cann. 1176 - 1185)

Can. 1176 §1. Deceased members of the Christian faithful must be given ecclesiastical funerals according to the norm of law.

§2. Ecclesiastical funerals, by which the Church seeks spiritual support for the deceased, honors their bodies, and at the same time brings the solace of hope to the living, must be celebrated according to the norm of the liturgical laws.

§3. The Church earnestly recommends that the pious custom of burying the bodies of the deceased be observed; nevertheless, the Church does not prohibit cremation unless it was chosen for reasons contrary to Christian doctrine.

No person can speculate whether one goes to heaven or hell, because only God will judge us.

Whatever it is, the dead body is perishable. Cremation makes it faster instantly, rather then slow-degradation in other methods.

Going to hell or heaven have nothing to do with this issue.

No. You are returning to the earth and hopefully a tree will grow on top of you.

Giving something back is a good thing...
