It is natural to fear the unknown, death is part of life, everything is a balance and we're all part of it.
Some cultures believe you die and become something new like plants and animals, they die, they nourish the ground and new life begins. We live forever in our Children!
Some believe you go to a place and sit besides their God/Goddess and will see loved ones there and be together again.
Some believe we come back, reincarnation. Which many cultures believe. Which too, if you believe in other life out amongs the stars who says we're not reincarnated there too?
I think life is very precious, fastinating, we are part of something grand no matter what the higher spirit is we'll be part of that spirit. There has to be more then just turning to dust and unfort. I can't make you feel better and say I know the Higher spirit personally and if there really is one but I feel we're going to be part of that energy!
Don't worry about death sweety, as we age our minds change, during our youth we feel invinsable, middle ages we worry and think about death more, but many elders I spoken too say they are at peace and ready when the time comes. Your going to be ok, think of more what your life is now and cheerish it everyday!

Like the other guy said, dying is a part of life. Even stars die. They become big and red and explode and shoot off gasses and those gasses go out into space and guess what? They make up the stuff of other stars. In fact, the only stars that have planets around them - ergo life - are the stars that are formed from the deaths of other stars (in more scientific terms, the compounds necessary for forming planets aren't found except in the gasses of exploding stars). There would be no life without death. Death isn't something to be afraid of.

sorry... no proof of "god" from me... I have trouble believing myself... but I do think there is some form of higher power... I just don't think that the Christians have the right idea... or any other religion for that matter... I think that the higher power is capable of being whatever god you want it to be... it's all a matter of which face you choose to bow down to... and I don't think that the higher power cares whether you bow down or not.. and as far as death goes, I think your "soul" is kinda recycled after death... I think that your "soul" is borrowed in the first place... so it's only right for the higher power to reclaim it after you're done with it... anyhow... don't worry about it so much... you'll find out in due time anyhow... why let it drive you nuts now?
I'm not gonna die in a beautiful well preserved body... I plan to use this thing up as much as I can, and then we'll see what happens... and if there's anything left... find someone else who needs it... as for the rest... find me a nice dumpster and get on with your life.

Your odds of dying are pretty good, but take heart. The Bible shows death to be like sleep.
Eccles. 9:5, 10 shows the dead are not conscious of anything. No pain, pleasure, thoughts, work. Acts 24:15 shows there will be a resurrection from the dead to life on earth for many.

Dying is something that we all have to do as life forms. We live and then we die. We have to die to make way for new life, but we can live forever in many ways. Leave a legacy that will last forever. Make such an impact on the world that no one can ever forget you existed.

One of the ways we acknowledge that there is God is through our testimony of Jesus Christ:
I was raised Christian. I went to this Christian camp called disciple now during my junior year of high school. It was there that it made me question what I believe. I found out there that I did not have true faith in the Son of God to save me at the cross. The reason for this is because if you do not know that you have faith, then you don't have it. And I also knew that if I didn't believe Jesus would save me now, How would I believe on my own power since I grew up in the church? So, I asked God to reveal himself to me. And I want to say about a week later, I was crying because Jesus died to save me at the cross. My sins killed him. I was also hard on myself because all those times I went to church, and I never had faith in the Son to forgive my sins.

From the second you're born you start dying...it's the only certain thing in your life. Sorry babe, but you can't escape it, but then, neither can I, so don't worry about it because we can both cease to exist together.

Well, if you believe in the ONE TRUE religion that understands that God is the creator of "worlds without number" then you don't really have to worry.
