Bicyclists (next time you watch the Tour de France take a look) shave their legs to lessen the pain of road rash. If you fall while riding your bike and scrape your legs, all that hair becomes embedded under the skin and under the scabs you are sure to get. Hair continues to grow under all that and can become painful

Ew - unless they have athletic reasons (swimmers, bikers, triatheletes, etc), I am totally turned off by guys who shave their legs!

Ultimately, it's up to the individual. BUT...I definitely think it looks more masculine for a man/boy to keep the hair on :)
