They Make 'Black' Henna. However, Henna Is NOT a Good Product For Extreme Color Changes. It Is Great As A 'Color Enhancer' And Conditioner But, It Can Cause 'Off-Color' Casts If Used For Changing Color. Also ANY Shade Of Henna But Red Or Reddish Brown Is NOT PURE HENNA. It Is A 'Mixture' Of Henna And 'Other' Ingredients Including 'Aniline' Dyes, Metal Salts And Other Chemicals. If You Use Henna You SHOULD NOT Use ANY Other Chemicals (Haircolor, Bleach, Perms, Relaxers) Or You Could End Up With A Real Mess.

Good-Luck!

Henna doesn't work unless you bleach your hair. But don't bleach it and use Henna on top!! It creates a lot of damage, your safer using boxed hair dye.

I don't know why you'd want to use henna instead of good old-fashioned hair color in a box, but I found this site with lots of customer reviews:

Good luck! :)
