In a day I usually eat this -

Breakfast: Two Weetabix with semi-skimmed milk, or a small bowl of porridge or on rare occasions scrambled egg (two eggs, no butter).

Snack: Clementine, Satsuma or Banana

Lunch: Bowl of cream of tomato or chicken soup with a slice of wholegrain toast, or scrambled egg

Snack: Wholegrain cracker or two

Evening meal: Usually a Pasta (white) dish - Lasagne or Chicken Pasta bake - shop packaged portion. Sometimes with peas/carrots.

Dessert: Apple or Banana.

I drink decaffeinated tea.

I'm in my ideal weight range but my belly still looks a bit portruding and untoned. I'm now trying to tone up and do cardio. Could my diet be hindering my progress?

It's possible that you are consuming too much sodium (canned soup, prepackaged meals, crackers) and you are retaining excess water.

The cardio should help your stomach because it will shed body fat all over your body.
Other than that, just make sure you are drinking water instead of soda.
Good luck :)

Man, that's the healthiest diet I've seen in a while.
Yes, don't change anything about that.

Change the soup. Cream soup is fattening , have a plain one.
Eat a wider variety of vegetables and don't buy ready meals they are usually fattening.

the have the right idea. but don't forget to drink 8-10 glasses of water daily, (64 ounces of water or more). If you use sugar in your tea change to "sweet and low". I personally don't use any sugar at all.

It sounds about right - just makes sure you're eating ENOUGH calories/day - probably around 1700-2000 if you want to lose a tiny bit of weight....very slowly.
