I'm a 20 year old male, 5'9 165 lbs. I had been working out and dieting really hard the last couple of months and lost 20 lbs. My clothes fit much looser and everything but I don't feel I look much different. I still look a bit fatty. Is it possible I'm losing more muscle than fat? Or do you think I probably look quite a bit different but just don't notice it because I look at myself in the mirror every day? Has any one else out there experience the same thing?

Hope someone can help

At 5'9", you should weigh 128 to 169 pounds.
With some muscle, you will probably look great at 145 - 155.
Congrats, and keep it up!

Your body will always consume fat before muscle, so you are not losing muscle. You just don't notice it because you see yourself every day and can't see the long-term changes. Congratulations on your achievement!
