of course everyone is different and has different size lips and levels of passion and preferences but I wondered if theres a common theme that would crop up about what makes a guy a good kisser - because I hope I am one lol =)

Well, you should find out who the dominant kisser is between the two of you and let that person be the guide. It's no fun if the kiss is a power struggle. That's the first step.
It depends on the moment, I suppose. Just be gentle with the kisses. Nothing too wet and nothing too dry. Relax your lips - there's nothing worse than a stiff-lipped kiss. (yikes!)
Mix it up a bit. Don't just kiss her lips all the time. Pause and look at her, then kiss her sweetly on the forehead or the cheek or the neck.
Doing something interesting with your hands is also a good thing - don't just cop a feel the whole time. Hold her hands or caress her arms or legs in a loving way. That's always a good thing.

not being to fast its horrible, go slowly with actual care in what ur doing, if you do it to fast with lots of tounge going like a worm its disgusting!

The eye contact before the kiss is the key for me that moment where he locks his eyes to mine seems like time is standing still. It's almost like forplay before the kiss makes you want his lips sooooo much.

Don't go in with a really wide mouth, you don't want her to think your a cannibal. Also don't hold your lips too tightly, it'll seem like your not very experienced.
Don't slobber, when the tongue goes in just gently stroke hers don't ram it in its gross. Break off every so often for air & to kiss her neck before going back for more. Oh & gentle is the way to go, don't force her head into yours. You can get rough when the passion fires up.

Well for me I don't really pay too much attention to specific details of a good kiss. If I like it, then I like it. If she likes it, then you're fine. But everybody has a different idea of what makes a good kisser. So while one girl might like how you kiss, another might not.

OMG just make sure u dont stick the tongue in staright away and really deep just give a few soft kisses first and then gently touvh her tongue with urs and then pull out, and suck her top or bottom lips then touch her tip of the tongue for as litle bit longer and experiment with it like go side ways or just give it a little flicksss
