I don't think it's a 'sin'. I recycle mine.

You have to directly mail what you consider as holy to God. The address is heaven and the and the city is Heavenly Pearly Gates and the zip code for heaven is of course the highest number you can count to and reach before you figure you have to stop countint because you have other things to attend to.

Christmas cards aren't holy unless you took them to a priest and had them blessed. In that instance, you would have to burn them respectfully or put them away with your holiday decorations or something.
As long as you didn't bless them, you can throw them away. I like to keep mine because most are photos of our family and friends and their children, so they get put into a photo album.

Not really. No offense to anyone really religious, but your not gonna die if you do something "bad" like that. Those are just religious myths that people chose to believe. If you think that it's a sin, then find a bin and put all of the cards in. Then put the bin in your basement and they'll be gone. That's what my mom does. And you'll also be able to look back on all of the cards when your older.

The card wasn't blessed by a priest, you can throw it in the recycle bin,or you can save it if you must in a scrap book.

No, no object is holy! Even if it depicts religious scenes. (In fact, it could be the OPPOSITE, since one of the commandments is for us to not make images, lest they DO become items of worship!)
Anyway, making new cards with great pics from old cards is cool.
Or just recycle all your paper. But have NO fears that religious cards are holy.

Just throw them away (or recycle them). They are not "holy objects". They are greeting cards.
