peoples bodys are different. if you get exercise every day, eat right everyday, then you are fine. some people are able to eat ANYTHING and still be skinny. and others can be watching every little thing and end up looking the same.
if people are making fun of you they are just bullies (and if this happens at school, tell a teacher. i would rather be a snitch, then being made fun of every day!!!)
just do what you usually do, and later on in life you will be a great weight!
its good to get good eating habits early in life!

Its no longer inevitably one in each of those foodstuff that slows your metabolism. what is going to finally ensue from having undesirable conduct is which you wont have that physique which you like plenty. be careful of the quantity of fat and sugar which you're ingesting. Its much less complicated to maintain it off than to take it off when you have it! so some distance as your metabolism... it is going to decelerate as you become previous yet to maintain it firing you desire to eat many circumstances an afternoon. not greater foodstuff yet greater circumstances!

A slow metabolism means you digest and process foods slowly.

If you are not "packing-on the pounds" your possession of a slow metabolism shoud not be blatantly evident, except by the smaller portions you are eating.

Now, if you're blaming your weight gain (or the fact that you are clinically obese) on your metabolism being slow...that is more cop-out than anything else. With the right diet (which is a lifestyle choice, not something to loose weight) and exercise program, few people will be fat, and they will be so for legitimate reasons, almost none of which will be a "slow" metabolism.

Now all that aside...should people make fun of you foe being overweight? No...unless you're being particularily stupid about your weight (like ordering a 3000 calorie meal and then asking for a "diet" soda, because you're watching your waist line, or similar idiocy).

Now...with that aside...assumning you're about where you should be weight-wise for your age, height, body type, and ethnicity, and you are eating properly to stay where you are...
No, people should not make fun of you, it's tacky and shows a lack of breeding. Next time, just point-out that since you aren't blowing scads of cash on junk food, you are/were able to save money for something you bought that you like! (Clothes, bike, iPod, etc.)

Incidentally...if you're getting that much exercise...your metabolism should NOT be slow (since exercise *speeds* the basal metabolic rate)!

If you are really active, and eat healthy...why the heck would you have a slow metabolism. And why should anyone make fun of you?!

No, it's not good to be the butt of sarcasm. Some people are so desperate to feel superior that they will find fault with everybody.
But the slow metabolism isn't good, either, as extra weight is unhealthy, especially as you get older. Have you been tested for thyroid levels, or for levels of Human Growth Hormone?

**** people like Jessica, I'm not fat but I lift with some people that are. My buddy Craig benches 320 lbs but weighs close to 230 lbs with a lot of body fat. He barely eats and works his *** off, but he can't loose any of the fat.

I don't think people can see your slow metabolism. Perhaps it just you're weight but those people who make fun of you are morons.
