I believe in both the goddess Gaia and the Scientific Hypothesis... but you can answer from either standpoint, as you will.

People like dddbbb, make me sick to my stomach! She would probably make an excellent 'poacher', and would enjoy shooting these animals, and then butchering them for their ''parts''.

We should be taking care of these magnificent animals, and we are not!
Elephants, Gorillas, and so many animals are now on the endangered species list, because of mans greed!
In a perfect world, only animal lovers exist, and we could enjoy 'watching'' them roam free, and they would be safe from us, and only need to fear their ''natural enemies''.!

Fear. Fear it won't happen. They will get their hopes up and it won't happen. Fear.. If it is true and they can live on Earth, YAY.. If not.. there is no hellfire, BUT if it is the other way around and they avoid the illusion's fires of torment, they are good either way. Fear to question their "teachers" Fear because the teachers are crueler than the CREATOR Fear to stand up and research. Fear it will take too much time to get to really learn and draw close to the creator. People have been let down, tossed around, rejected, beaten down, lied to, taught wrong, they are weak and not strong. There are so many lies out there since the first one on record ever told, many people are tired, lost and confused. That is why I love Jehovah so much and the amount of time he has given for folks to SEE this, see through the fear, (what else have you got to lose), see through the greedy, weak desperate people teaching tese things, tht have been teaching it so long that WHILE they no longer believe what they teach, it has been their life and they feel it would be a waste to change now... They don't want to stop believing in Heaven because that has been thei

She doesn't seem to mind us being around, but she is getting pissed at how we are treating the Earth. We humans had better watch our P,s & Q,s or Gaia will shake us off like a bad case of fleas.

From a scientific view point life is interconnected, but humans are constantly damaging the environment, and at this point are doing more harm than good, environmentally. Life is fairly tenacious, and will probably recover once we are gone.

While life is interconnected, removal of one to several species will not totally destroy all life, but there is a point where it will cause a cascade effect. So removal of humans or the species that you mentioned would not cause massive repercussions but those species would be lost, which is definitely not a good thing.

Wolves make good coats. Rattlesnake tastes like chicken, and tiger rugs are cool. A place for everything!

Is this even a serious question ?

I have to ask... What the hell would the extinction of Wolves, Rattlesnakes and Snow Leopards have to due with the extinction of humans ? (unless it were caused by some Extinction level event that basically wiped out most forms of life on earth such as a large meteor).

I have to tell you; If nature is a conscious entity and wants to get rid of humanity; It's going to have to take almost everything else with it...
