You mean the inhabitants of heaven and hell?
Heaven and hell are places, imaginary places.

I believe after die we become our own state of being. For example, people who lived lives of regret will live eternity in our own pain (Hell), and if you know the Lord and worked hard for paradise and have no regret then you find heaven, but I imagine we would still feel human in these alternate realities. Also I feel like Heaven and Hell is Earth and right now we are caught in between.

Messiah after His resurrection appeared human, so it seams reasonable to guess that humans will too. there is no eternal torture. Hell is being burned in the fires that purify earth so YAHOSHUA can make it new, and very good.

We anthropromorphize everything..... gods, places, (the attack of 9/11 was seen by many as a bullet going into the WTC's body) animals.

I'm guessing you mean in pictures, movies, etc. Probably because we do not know what it would really be, should they exist. Nothing else could make sense to our limited intellect.

Things like that are described in human terms so that humans can understand them. We would not have the frame of reference to truly comprehend anything divine.
