The other day a question was posted about having dreams about your wedding and I posted, "Not yet." Well...last night I dreamed I hated the jacket on my dress and I wanted sleeves put on it. Now, today, that's all I can think about. LOL! I think it's because I tried the dress on the other day and the sleeves on the bolero jacket are tighter than before. Oops. I am going to start working out this week, but my worry is I might build muscle and the arms would still be tight. I'm thinking about buying a wrap that matches my dress as back-up. It's ivory (matching my dress) with beading on the end.
Anyway, my question is what do you like better over a wedding dress: bolero jacket or wrap?
Also, is it a good idea to buy the wrap as back-up or would I just be wasting money?
Thanks!

The wedding is April 26. Last year around here it was in the low 50's that day.

I'm sure the jacket will be fine but it wouldn't hurt to buy the wrap. If it is plain ivory with beading you would always wear it with something else down the road. Or you could just but it closer to your date and, if the jacket fits, return it.

I bought a jacket and the dress came with a wrap and I didn't use either of them.
I got married in March and it was a chilly day, but I wasn't outside at all, just from going from house to car to church to reception.
At the reception you'll be up dancing so you wouldn't get to chilly either.
Congratulations and good luck!

I got married in February, and I wore a faux fur wrap. I liked it because I bought it on ebay, and didn't have to go for a specific fit (like you would more likely with a bolero jacket).

Get the wrap. You never know how you will feel the day of your wedding and it will be good to have two options.

I had a long lace jacket that I was iffy about - until everytime I tried it on for a fitting. I fell more and more in love with it. Personally I hate wraps - they fall off - they always look crooked in the pictures. I would go with the jacket - maybe get a bigger size bolero and relax. Jackets are easier to care for and easier to deal with.

Personally....I have both! I figured it this way...who knows what I'll be feeling like the day of the wedding, so I bought both!! Of course, I wouldn't buy the wrap if it's too expensive...but you get the idea!! Congrats, and good luck!!!

What time of year is wedding? If its in the late spring or summer, a jacket might be too hot, and the wrap may be a better option.
