LOL. That is one of the cental criticisms of the nt. It was written 60-120 years after the fact. Not one single document exists that was written while jebus allegedly walked the earth. This is quite amazing since his birth was supposedly foretold, his arrival was known to kings, preceded by a star and herald angels announcing to shepherds. He performed miracles, raised the dead, fed multitudes, all with thousands of witnesses. Yet no one during his life or for decades after ever wrote a thing about him. The things that were written closely follow other and more ancient god-like legends and myths. Like I have said many time the bible is a book of missed opportunities. god/jesus could have written many things, but did not (unbelievable since he was in the temple when he was a young boy and obviously very learned). The only thing ever written by jebus blew away in the dust. We are left with the claims of man, decades after the fact, relying on hearsay upon hearsay stories. Despite what xians claim the names given to certain gospels as their authors are probably not witnesses to anything.

Most of the Bible existed before Jesus was born (i.e, the Old Testament). Many books were written after His death, most of the New Testament. Remember, the books in the New Testament are a record of Jesus' activities while He lived among us. I would assume that the Bible was written before and after.

None of what we call the "New Testament" was written before the death of Messiah, as nearly as we can tell. Some of the earliest parts of it were written on the margins of other works, so it is difficult to date exactly when the first word that found its way into today's scriptures was written.

No, the bible was written Years after Jesus' death and resurrection. My belief is that the bible was written because the original 12 apostles of Jesus like Peter were all dying and the other apostles wanted a written record of what they observed and what Jesus had taught them.

No. It was told orally for many years before it was documented.

We have no records of ANYTHING written about Jesus dated earlier than about 30 years after his supposed death; and Jesus never put pen to parchment, himself.

Which makes EVERYthing in the New Testament regarding Jesus hearsay and thirdhand accounts.
