Yes, at the Last Supper The people who compiled the bible were Catholics. The people who wrote the Scriptures that went into the bible were Jews. The Pope ordered Jerome to compile scripture into a book to stop heresies that were popping up around Western Christendom. This was done in the late 4th century. No, the bible was compiled AFTER Constantine converted and made Christianity legal. Constantine had nothing to do with a) the establishment of Christianity or the creation of the bible. The bible stayed the same for 1200 years until the Protestants removed books from it to suit their agenda(s). No, of course not! The Catholic Church was founded by Jesus until the Last Supper. So it basically consisted of the Apostles. How could they have given any OK when they were being pursued for arrest and death as well? That's an absurd question. NO ONE worships the Pope. THAT'S absurd as well. Actually we don't know that those who compiled the bible didn't purposely change what Jesus said. Since the KJV came from that bible, you've been using those same scriptures, EXCEPT that we KNOW the Protestants removed books from the original. So, the KJV WAS purposely altered. We can't have an organized Christian religion with a clear understanding of the bible and no disagreements because Protestants refuse to accept the one true faith, founded by Jesus. Moreover, they preach, and have been preaching, lies against us, ie "worshiping the Pope." How silly is that?!

ok first i'd like to say that if some one loves their religion and it makes sence to them they are going to practice it. one major part of Islam is to think. you aren't supposed to blindly follow what people tell you, you are supposed to search for the right answers about islam in the quran or other islamic books that were written by trusted sources for your self. another thing is that me being a muslim the more i practice islam the more i love it so when you love something you keep doing it and that's why Muslims practice their religion because we love it.
in addition to what i just said i would like to point out that some of the things you said are offensive like when you said you're not condoning terrorism what does terrorism have to do with islam if you read books about islamic laws and rules you would see that terrorism is completly against islam infact the killing of civilians during war is even against islam, you also talked about the abaya which you called " the full black thing" that is part of culture not religion. another thing you said was that muslims are "misguided" i'm sure that if muslims were "musguided" or there was even one part of islam that didn't make sence after you thought about it then islam wouldn't be the fastest growing religion in the entire world.
I'm sure you didn't mean for what you said to be offensive but i just thought I'd point that out because maybe you didn't realize what you were doing. in fact i actually appreciated most of what you said and i didn't mean to attack it so thanks for the compliment

You remind me of a Romanian doctor I met in Kuwait. He converted to Islam & he also thinks Muslims are more committed to their faith.
However, I see it differently. I think Muslims today live in many similar conditions the Jews had lived in the past. The Jews used to live as a powerless nation. Great empires ruled them, & tried to impose their influence upon the Jews. But they resisted & kept a lot of their values & practices. Of course, the Jews in our modern time are very different, but again they have a longer history than the Muslims do.
It’s always good to learn lessons from history.

Maybe because they are bound with sharia laws. Obliged to follow the strict law. I guess fear has something to do with it, if you don't follow then prepare to accept the harsh punishment.
While christian have more liberal and has freedom of expression. Religious law such as canon law are open concentrated towards the laymen and priests. And most of the christian countries practice dimplomacy unlike muslim in islamic countires.

I also agree that muslims seem more agressive in embracing their faith but I do not agree that it is the truth. Lazy christians do not make Jesus Christ less truthfull. It just makes most so-called christians hypocritical. Jesus Christ said to be a "doer of the Word and not hearers only". Paul says we need to pray without ceasing. James says that " we have not because we ask not". Jesus Christ also tells us that to doubt Father God is to sin. This is all true and Americans fails Jesus Christ on this everyday and in every way. If their god was our Heavenly Father, they would now rule the world because of their devotion and we would all be speaking aramaic. Israel would never have won the 6 day war either.

The answer is both an asset and a flaw to the Catholic (and entire Christian) Church. The reason is that Islam promotes very radical, follow-me-and-do-this-or-rot-in-hell-or-whatever-hell-is-in-Islam attitude. Whereas, the Christian faith does NOT impose such rules on its members. It only suggests that we read the Bible, that we do good etc for our own place in heaven but it does not condone lenient acts of inactivity. For instance, you can still be a Christian though you don't attend Church regularly, but for Muslims, no way. We are much more freer, which is the way it should be with a religion.

The God of Truth doesn't need our protection, like the father of lies needs theirs. You know the old saying, "You tell one lie, you have to tell 20 more to cover it up." Their god can't defend himself, he knows he's already been defeated on the cross at Calvary.
I do go on missions trips, and would gladly welcome a martyrs death. I'd also lay down my life for a friend, or an enemy for that matter. I've risked my life several times rescuing strangers from deadly circumstances.

It has to do with the situations. Most Christians live in wealthy first world countries where their religion is for the most part dominant and accepted. Most Muslims live in third world countries and a poor. They view "Christians" (the western world) as exploiting their natural resources.
Basically Christians are complacent and Muslims have a "rally cry" to use for their religion.

"Christians" have been told for a long time that they do not have to obey YHVH. It is a lie, but many choose to believe it.
