There are a lot more than a trillion (1,000,000,000,000) stars out in our galaxy alone. Our solar system has 9 planets just for ONE star! Then take a look at how many galaxies are in our entire universe. Most scientist agree that there is life on other planets the thing they question is if they ever contacted us.
Personally I think that we will find them but if we try to go there we would be attacked or harmed.
To anyone who says that life on other planets most likely doesn't exist are ignorant of space and science.

I believe in alien life in the Deep Seas on our own planet
they say...only 5% of the oceans are explored and understood or cataloged
they found strange Tube Worms that lived in 600 degree temps in the smoker vents near the earth's crust underwater with dna that was very much like our own, with blood and everything but
NO LIGHT
that was enough for the religious right to ban "Volcanoes of the Deep" because it took away creation story relevance or a need upon a sun or humanity to control it

well yeah
their has gotta be other life somewhere else in infinity
somewhere their are other planets revolving around some rock and can hold life
its stupid to think not because the universe goes on 4 ever
do they really think that one itty bitty planet in a sea of planets and stars and rocks and galaxies that goes on 4 ever that we are the only ones that have life
i don't think that their are aliens that want to suck our brains out but i think somewhere their are living cells that will evolve and make intelligent life

Considering how vast the universe is I find it hard to believe that some type of life could not be present on some other planet. Maybe very different than life as we know it on earth but some type of life and possibly intelligent life as we know it. However the sheer distance may well keep us from ever knowing for sure at least with our current means of space travel.

i once studied a course at university called life in the universe , this course's premise was we would be totally ignorant and niave to beleive WE ARE IT . There HAS to be something else out there . I truely beleive that we are very much like the concept of MIB ending of the 1st movie ,we are just insignifcant in the wider scehme of things and anyone who honestly doesnt beleive that there is something else out there has rocks in their head's

I beleive that there is probably life elsewhere somewhere in the near infinite Universe...
However,
Logic would suggest that even if we ever make contact with that life; They are likely to either be so far beneath us as to not be worth our notice (ie. bacteria) or so far beyond us, that we are nothing to them...

Yes, other life forms exist on other planets most definitely. But we won't ever know until we can finally get into space and explore its mysteries.
