Hello my little green friend.
It is grey and overcast but then I'm not too far away.
I can't say if it happens every year because in my younger years I would have been way too excited about going out to party to notice the weather.
I remember one 6 or 7 years ago that was bitter. Ice, fog, snow and freezing rain...

That's what you get for living in Sheffield. *g* Okay, I'll be serious. It's the middle of winter, and days are more likely to be cloudy than clear, no matter what the exact date is.

Most of the time it's cold and starry! I have the distinct pleasure of living on the Atlantic Coast and love to see the moon in its full glory especially on New Year's Eve. The year 2000 was one of those special nights.
