There are many different types of alcohol and are used in all types of products and at various concentrations. The question is; why can't you have it. Are you allergic? Alcoholic?

Chances are good it's in such minor concentration it won't affect you. But if this is related to an allergy, ask your doctor.

Um...ever hear of a Search Engine?

They're quite common.

Google, Yahoo, Canoe, MSN, Ask Jeeves, then there's that dog one, etc...

Type "cetyl alcohol" into the search box and press "Search/Find/etc". You'll have all the answers on the subject you want.

If you want, you could also try the Wikipedia.

In any case...see the link below for an MSDS on it.

As for the term "alcohol"...it applies to any byproduct of fermentation, and in this case, is a powder (melting about 50deg C.), not a liquid.
