okay, my friend wanted to ask another question. She had an affair with a married man. Now the married man and his wife have been married for 8 years. He has never cheated on her before and she knows, not only by what he has told her but how he acts around her and other clues, that I can't write here. But, she is wondering if he wanted her for more than sex, and if so, how can she find that out. Finally, most guys wouldn't want the lover and wife together but, he is always wanting to get together with her. If this is his first time, and he has never done this before, would you think that he has feelings for her????

I think it's possible that he has feelings for her. I went through a similar situation with a married woman and she ended up getting a divorce. If he has feelings for her, then he needs to be man enough to tell his wife he is not happy or that he is looking elsewhere. He would expect the same from her and be irrate if he found out otherwise. Chances are if he is going to cheat now, then he already has before or he will do it again. Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"your friend" should do the decent thing and leave him alone. If he ever becomes single, then he's available. Until then avoid.
A married man having an affair is not the only guilty party if the mistress is aware he is married.

If he's married, how much more can he give her besides sex? He's certainly not in a position to make any kind of real commitments because he's already failing to keep a commitment he's made to someone else, right?

It sounds to me that he is using your friend for only sex and wants a threesom to spice up his marriage with his wife. Tell her to be careful.

No.
You know your friend could just ask him straight out.
Makes it a whole lot easier
And if he hesitates but says he does have feelings for her then I'd still be wary.

Probably he does, but who knows. He may not even know. He does, however, want his cake and eat it, too.
This is ultimately doomed, he will be found out eventually, and the whole thing will blow up big time.
When that happens, maybe she will get him. However, what she will have is a man that is a proven cheater. Then where will she be?
I hold her most responsible for this nonsense, actually. She needs to stop it. Now.
