I disagree with the above. See *ezy-build, below. Practise daily, one of the relaxation techniques on pages 2, 11, 2c, or 2i; whichever works best for you, but the mindfulness breathing for 15 - 20 mns is ideal, although the progressive muscle relaxation can be learned quickly, and takes only several minutes, if pressed for time. Give the EFT a good tryout. Section 53, and pages 2, 2.q and 2.o at * http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris refer. "Even though I sometimes suffer from feelings of deprivation, I deeply and completely accept myself". You can also multitask, using the gazing technique, as you walk/jog or exercise, by focusing on a distant object, noting any thoughts which flash across your mind, without pursuing any particular train of thought, just gently redirect your focus to the gazing. Seek therapy, if the above proves inadequate, after several weeks.

Narcissistic? Sounds like you want the world to revolve around you. That you haven't gotten what is yours. sounds cruel. But I think you need to remember what you have accomplished and take pride in that. It is hard..... there are some other disorders out there but I think you want to be spoiled is the right answer. you haven't gotten what you want and you are looking at all the wrong things to make you happy. Be happy on what you have done.

When you say you feel deprived, and only feel good when people give to you, you do sound a bit spoiled...maybe you don't recognize that, and when you say you don't feel good when you accomplish things on your own, it does appear that you are used to being waited on...You have the need for people to shower you with gifts and attention, and feel deprived when you don't get it...you sound once again, like my gorgeous three year old granddaughter, who is spoiled rotten also...sorry the first gal got it right
