We are going to an annual gathering given by a Catholic family from our church.

Good food, beautiful music and prayers at midnight to honor the Christ Child and dedicate the New Year to Him.

Pax Vobiscum+

We go to an evening service @ 10 pm, we are mostly always praying at the time it hits 12, then we all congratulate and bless each other. The rest of the night we stay up, and have a quiet party with games and all sorts of fun things.

I hadn't been planning on it, but you know, that is a good idea! New Year's is a great time to be thankful for the good things of the past year, and to pray for the new year's developments.

I'll be hanging out with friends, but no reason not to offer up a prayer as the ball drops!

PS: to the guy with the scared dog...now I am worried that my dog will freak out and no one will be here to comfort her! Dang!

I hadn't thought of it, but it's not a bad idea.

Thanks!

Hmmm...nope. Just working. It's just another day to me with no special significance attached to it whatsoever.

I will be sitting home with my hubby. We aren't doing anything formal for the night. I always pray so I'll be thanking God tonight for the last year and praying for His help for us all in the New Year coming!

I pray all those who love the Lord will grow closer to Him this year and reflect His light better to those around us. I pray that those who don't know Him will become open to His Holy Spirit. The kindest thing I can wish for anyone else is to know Jesus Christ in this life! I can't live a day without Him, never mind a whole year!!! God Bless You this Year!
