I have been going through a LOT of milk recently. Up to 3 and 4 gallons a week. I was just curious as to if there was anything wrong with drinking that much? I drink all of that BY MYSELF, my husband hates it, and my daughter isn't old enough to drink it quite yet. What do you think?

No it is not healthy to drink that much milk. You need to have your calcium checked by the doctors...
Sounds like you are not getting any other liquids in your diet. And since your daughter isn't old enough...she must be very young, so your body is depleted in something that you are getting in the milk. Check with your Doctor and let him know how much milk you are drinking. In the USA there is an additive in our milk....that many people feel is not good for us....some kind of Hormone. So get checked out by your doc.

There may be nothing wrong with that quantity but I would be discussing this with my doctor. Appears that your body is craving calcium perhaps even the onset of osteoporosis but you need to be tested for that & have your bones measured & Xrayed. If there is nothing physically out of order I would consider switching to skim milk due the the high fat content in whole milk if you drink that much.

If you are thirsty all the time you might alway want to be checked for diabetis.

i hope it's low fat..... I used to drink gallons of milk as a growing boy (played foot ball). As an adult, if you aren't all that active, then you may want to drink low fat. If you aren't haven't any violent reactions then it obviously isn't a problem for you. I like it ice cold (even with ice cubes in it) or hot in the morning with coffee & sugar.

Nothing wrong with it as far as I can tell. As long as you are getting in veggies, you should be fine.
you also said your baby is not old enough. It is really good for you if you are nursing, and apparently your body is craving it, if you are drinking that much.
You are probably vitamin D deficient.

In the Far East they do not drink milk at all, milk is for babies and cow's milk is for calves, I think you have a problem.

Can't see any thing wrong in that. That makes it about 1.5l\day. NO harm in that.
