one more time:- why you disclaim Islam in a way that Muslims could not take.
irreverently == nasty words
insubordination == used about a person or behaviour
avoidable == avoid something
my Q is it English or Italian?

You should try rephrasing your question. I can't really understand what you're asking.
Edit> Ok, I think I understand what you're getting at. It is common practice in the modern West to deal with religion in an irreverent fashion. In our society, it is expected that the believer will respond to questions, mocking, or other comments either rationally or by ignoring them. In our society, it is never acceptable to deal violently with someone just because they insulted your religion.
We are unwilling to censor ourselves just because Muslims believe their own religion is special and should be subjected to different rules than everyone else's religion. There is nothing special about Islam, it is full of the same kinds of nonsense that most religions have at least some of, and educated people should feel free to point this out. We also note here that it is exceedingly common for the press and clergy in Muslim countries to say horrific things about non-Muslims, and we thus believe that someone who is capable of speaking insults should be able to take them in return.
In summary: if Muslims are so thin-skinned that they cannot react to criticism with anything but violence, then that is THEIR problem, not ours. Our attitude is that Muslims should grow up and learn to deal with a world where not everyone believes what they do, instead of trying to impose their censorship on the rest of us.

There is a problem with the suffering that Islam has caused innocent people and the aggression with which western religions have responded.
Not all Muslims are at fault, that we know, but some are and they that are causing the problem must be to blame. Think 9/11.
It is unfortunate that only a few are at fault but many get the blame because Muslims are part of the same organisation.
the spiral of disclaiming will continue until both sides are penitent and can find some agreement for the future.
It is not a religious problem but a political problem. It is the result of action taken when politics use religion as justification for their actions.
Love one another and revere all human life is the answer. Before that can happen there has to be repentance and acceptance by all peoples.

The greatest threat to peace in our day comes from the religion that calls itself the religion of peace, Islam.
When they quit carrying around missile launchers and attempting to destroy every thing that is not Islam, then we will stop condemning them for what they are doing.
Denying that Osama bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri, Rifa Almed Taha, Thirwat Salah Shirhata, Abu Musab Zarqawi, Tawfiq Attash Khallad, Abu Mohammed al-Masri and Zaid Khayr don't represent Islam is no comfort to those of us who wonder when the next attack on our soil will happen.
The United States has foiled numerous attempts by al Qaeda on U.S. soil and will continue as long as George Bush has the will and determination to wage this battle to its fullest.
It might be noted that the U.S. is capturing alive as many of the leaders of the movement while al Qaeda resorts to killing those who disagree with them.
Look at the destruction that is going on right now in Pakistan, where after Bhutto's death, they have burned polling places, and destroyed ballots, the very things that they need to have their elections. It does not make sense. It will take time to find out who really killed Bhutto, but since the democratic socialists find it in their best interest to blame the current government, they are at war against their own country, destroying the things they need. DUH!
eclomaxkiwi..... Can you imagine the guys that I mentioned above putting down their weapons and living in peace with the rest of the world? It is their goal to have the entire world live under sharia law.

I presume you are asking why has islam suffered in the past few years, I see no suffering, We did not do 9/11, & we responded by going after you, That is not suffering, that is USA getting justice for our people that were killed. Now you run & cry wolf, trying to make the world feel sorry for you.

It is part of the plan for the new world order, that the whole world should worship the beast. People are easily conned into doing things that are not in their best interest.
