i need to know if your "short sighted" i.e can't see from far are you + (plus) dioptres or - (minus) dioptres?

it would be a big help thankyou!

Nearsightedness is (-) Diopters, Farsighted and Hyperopic are (+) Diopters

If you are near sighted, they prescribe a minus (concave) lens; if you are farsighted, or for reading glasses they use a plus (convex) lens. Of course, there may be other components to the perscription, but this is the basic idea.

im near sighted, i cant see clearly if it is too far from me
