in case you propose on getting wasted/fubar/plastered then that bottle is already a million/2 empty. in case you haven't any longer have been given any purpose to drink any in any respect then you certainly nevertheless have a a million/2 comprehensive bottle of vodka for medicinal purposes of direction!

If there is another bottle of fine wine waiting to be opened it is half empty and therefore time to get round to opening the next one.
If it is the only bottle of fine wine there is to hand then it is still half full and should be savoured.
