Autistic children are not known for being cooperative and if an activity is not to their liking, they will avoid it, even to their own detriment. How do Muslim parents deal with an offspring who refuses to learn and obey the tenants of their religion? Also, some Autistic children are very high functioning and are often not diagnosed until adulthood. Since people are severely punished and even stoned to death in many Islamic countries for doing something that is considered an insult to Allah or for bringing dishonor to the family, isn't it possible that some of these people being stoned are high functioning Autistics who can not help but behave in the manner that they are being punished for?

Black September,
I have never been called a troll before. It is shocking considering the fact that all the questions I ask are always asked with complete sincerity, curiosity and the hope that it makes people think. You of course have the right to your opinion, but I at least want you to know that it was not my intention to cause you any upset.

By the way, I have high functioning Autism myself, which is why I was curious about Islam's view on Autism.
