My answers never get picked as 'best'. Boooohooooo

Yes, I got picked for two best answers that are embarrassing.
One was a question about religion posed by the head of a religious order and congregation, and little old apostate me
"the Atheist Queer", beat out all the religious faithful in R&S.
The other was a health question where I, who have no medical background, beat out a registered nurse and a med student.
But I have to admit to being more embarrassed about this best answer than the first.

there was an occasion where i gave an unusually acerbic answer to a particularly obtuse question, and the questioner awarded me best answer on the grounds that i must have a very unhappy life to be so bitter.

i thought it was sweet of her - and it nearly made me forgive her for the question.

but no - i wasn't embarassed about it.

I forget the question, but I remember the embarassing best answer...it was a rebuke of my "trusted source" (who was a minister) by the Urban Legions web site branding the "facts" sited in red as NOT true. Oops!

I got back to the minister with the Urban Legions rebuke to his information, and he apologized to me. It did not help me with the egg on my face.

It is also very embarassing when my insightful questions in Religion and Spirituality are removed by the big Yahoo upstairs once in a blue moon.

no, even some that I should not have posted, but did, I am still proud of.

Nope, not yet. I'm currently skimming through my best answers to see if there's anything particular that I might be embarrassed about but so far I've been rather somewhat proud of them, just looking back and re-reading them again =)

I have only one best answer here. But on my other accounts, before they were deleted, yes. A few people only gave me a best answer to lecture me. I'd rather have a best answer because they actually liked my answer.

Edit: Actually, it happened with my first and only best answer on this account.

Yes, just the other day and she called me an idiot. And only gave my answer one star.
