Hypothetical situation. If a girl came to your church one night, and looked in need of spiritual help, but was inappropriately dressed, how would you react, and how do think your priest/pastor/imam/rabbi etc. should react. Would you turn her away, or let her stay?

sorry, to clarify, I mean dressed in a seductive way, like on a night out.

Spend some time at our church ... a man who doesn't wear shirts (town ecentric)... an older man who reminds you of Stephen Hawkings....two young ladies who let us know they danced for a living (understand?), a young man who came in wearing a t-shirt with Death Head and logo "Life sucks"....

friend..it's not a hypothetical question..... the wounded go where they know their heart will be mended. If the outcast can't be loved in your church... it's time to leave the fancy programs and spectacular choirs and find another place.

Nothing wrong with a bit of dirt under the fingernails.. nothing wrong with looking for His love..because He's not seeing the clothes, He sees the heart....why should I be any different?

I have been a minister for many years now. If you came to the church I minister for help in spirituality wearing something that showed off your skin it would not matter to me.I am there to help those in need not judge them by the clothes they wear.

She would be welcome, but she would be counseled by a woman of the church in addition to the pastor. Not just for propriety's sake, but because she might rather talk to another woman. Her state of dress is not the issue if she needs help.

i know plenty of followers of Christ who don't always wear what they should...i wouldnt react any differently than if a middle aged woman in formal clothing showed up. its whats in your heart that counts to Jesus.

Speak with her but be wise and do all counsellings in a public area.

Wouldn't make any difference to me what she was wearing, but I'm a gay man.

Would a heterosexual man, or a woman of either sexual orientation do differently in the same situation?

I'd hope not. Treating people decently and with respect and kindness has nothing to do with what they are wearing.

spirituality is in heart and soul, not th church, turn her away from church and let her stay in my bed and give lessons of spiritual sex (tantra) to connect her spirit to eternal superpower , meditation with sex.
