I've heard many Christians say that if a person never hears about Jesus while they're alive, then they will not have to go to Hell because of it. Wouldn't it be better not to tell anyone about Jesus so that all people may have the benefit of salvation when they die on an unconditional basis, the way it was supposedly given? After all, so many Christians say that Jesus’ sacrifice was given unconditionally and willingly because He loves us exactly as we are: imperfect. People have a hard time believing things that they cannot see for themselves and Jesus knows that too. It only seems logical that it would be better to let someone go without knowing about Jesus so that when they meet him face to face in death, they can see He is definitely real and make a truly informed decision based on something that is obviously fact (the evidence would be right there looking at them).

The moment you tell someone about Jesus, you open up the possibility of that person going to Hell. Why do that?

Christian Universalism does not teach the existence of an eternal hell. Jesus' sacrifice is meant to save us from death and is for all. Here are some resources for anyone interested in Christian Universalism:

Excuse me but show me where there is more than two judgements at the Lamb's Throne?

The biggest problem with God isn't with Him....but people attempting to mold Him into something they can stand behind with their human morality.

well, first of all God loves us as we are because we are in his image and likeness; he doesn't love us like you suggested, because we are imperfect.

People go to hell or live thru hell because of the actions they take, not whether they are in a certain religion, although christianity does describe hell. And non-believers don't have to be told about hell because they know what hell is about.

And you're right about people being given that "last chance" to believe, in end times. However believers in a lot of the religions are are taught or even sometimes demanded to bring people to know about God.

It's all made up. It's shots in the dark by man. Only man adds mortal fear and doom and goofy gotchas like that. They are taught that somehow a perfect being operates by fear, doom, wrath, hate, spite, and judging.

Religion is for people who are trying to keep from going to hell. Spirituality is for people who have already been there.

Heaven and hell is actually right here. Look around and choose. God calls it sowing and reaping and it has realtime results. Fear motivation is a human failing. A perfect being wouldn't roll like that. Even Jesus on earth didn't roll like that. I always thought it was about love. Christianity was made up long after he left. Jesus taught a way of living and being and doing. That is all. They don't make Jews like Jesus anymore.

Christians never seem to question this notion that somehow a perfect being needs something from them or that somehow they have the ability to displeas a perfect being. LOL. I've wondered, does it seem just a little too "made up" to worship a sacrificial God by eating his flesh and drinking his blood at an altar? Huh? Am I being punked?

What counts is how we treat one another here on earth. God is going to be just fine. Always come from love and you'll never be lost. It's that unbelievably simple.

Eternal life is a gift from Messiah. If you do not receive that gift, you choose to remain in your sins, and will in the end be burned up when sin and sinners are destroyed, so that the Savior can make this world new, and very good. There is no perpetual torture. The end of sinners is the second death.

I find that hard to believe. With all the TV channels now. Everyone hears bits and pieces but stop listening. Everyone has had a choice to hear or not to hear. If you don't hear it, you have chosen not to hear it.

Christ said that even the rocks will cry out. Meaning, creation speaks to who God is and folks would be judged based on that. So, even if they never hear the gospel, they'll still get judged based on their relationship with God. Why not tell everyone anyway?
