I think there are both good and bad things in Islam, like in all other religions. As for Muslims, most of those I've met are good, normal people. There are a few bad apples amongst Muslims, like in every other group. Sadly, the media and certain governments try to brainwash people into thinking all Muslims are like those bad apples.

People, there is over one billion Muslims in the world. If they were all evil the rest of us wouldn't still be here. ;) It's only a tiny percent of them who are extremist losers with no future who choose to blow themselves and others up. The majority of the rest are just people like you and me.

In order to understand Islam we need to understand Mohammed.
Mohammed was a warlord like Osama bin laden, Ayatollah Khomeini and Chengiz Khan. These people have only tried to copy Mohammed.
Mohammed led more than 60 bloody wars. His warriors used to cut open the bodies of enemies and eat their livers (cannibals).
Mohammed encourases paedophilia as he married a 9 yr old and allowed easy divorce by saying talaq 3 times and allowed 4 wives. So he promoted sexual abuse of women and their slavery by puting them in burqua(veil) and not allowing education.
I think Mohammed twisted christian & Jewish scriptures to create Quran in order to make his people together with him.
Therefore Islam is a faith promoting violence, bloodshed , murder and sexual abuse.
This is directly opposite to what Jesus & Buddha preach i.e non-violence, love, compassion & celibacy.

Islam is a dangerous religion. It need to be changed by experts on theology , modern law, civil rights and on civilized principles based on compassion. Otherwise the world will see more & more terrorism, suicide attacks, illiteracy, killings , murder & crimes. If some people conclude that the the greatest danger to mankind and to its civilization is from terrorism then I would agree and Islam promotes it.
My conclusions are based on impartial study of most of the religions.

The problem is with the Media , the people will answer your question based on what they see and hear from Media so basiclly the majirroty ( who dont know what the meaning of islam ) will say yes , but if you deal with muslims and you read about them you will know that they are not dangerous

They do not believe Jesus Christ died on the cross, and rose again from the dead, to give us each a chance at life, so that makes them a danger to the salvation of people.

A lie is only dangerous when someone believes it, when they die. The danger is spending eternity in the flames of hell.

They try to convince people to believe a lie, that will keep them from God for eternity. That is a danger to anyone's soul.

Islam come from Arabic root word "salaam= peace" if u want to know the true meaning of Islam I would request u to read holy Quran and sahih Hadith of holy prophet Muhammed (PBUH) rest all is surely not Islam it's nothing but maligning Islam which theses days media is doing , further more why the book written by Micheal Hart "100 most influential personality" placed prophet of Islam at number 1 in his book. Rest the above list is nothing but false acquisition against Islam.

The Muslims that I have met personally were nice people. I don't know a whole lot about the religion itself- I've heard from both sides but I reserve judgment until I read up more on it myself, however I believe the violence does not come from Islam, but more from the culture of the middle east. It is unfortunate that the extremists have abused it in such a way.

they are not dangerous, we are all the same, except that every religion has their own rules & stuff. i'm a muslim, and i'm proud of what i believe in my god. what had happened in iraq & afghan and other contries there is because of democracy & politics. it's not about religion that makes them so dangerous. i hope you understand my statement. please, muslim people are not bad if you know them. they will respect you if you respect them & their religion back.
